Taking rubber casing off: Start by removing the o-ring. Next, push up the front of the casing around the charge port, so the charging port can slide under the casing. Next, Push on the back of the light (opposite lens) with your thumb until the lens is out of the rubber casing, and continue pushing until the casing comes completely off. You may need to push on the lens with something other than your thumb, like a sharpie. You can cut the rubber casing for easier removal.
Putting rubber casing on: Make sure the on/off button on the light is facing up, as to align with the on/off button on the rubber casing. Push the light with your thumb on the lens until the light is fully within the lip of the rubber casing. The light should be fully hitting the back of the rubber casing, and the lip should completely surround the lens and charging port.
