I roller skate through the city at night. I need a bright, adjustable light to see what's ahead and make sure that I'm visible on the street. I purchased the SL-1000 helmet pack with the adjustable mount. I've worn it out a few times now, and I'm very happy with it. It's quick and easy to adjust the brightness and light position. The light quality is fantastic. The helmet mount is very steady, and when I angle the light it stays in place until I move it. It's perfect.
Really lights up the path well. Nice to not have to hold something.
The light is bright and gets the job done. You only need 1 light. Multiple uses too.
Not worth high asking price; quality is good but similar one biking light u can buy much cheaper. Another part is delivery - you pay premium for delivery and it took much longer then promised. Wont buy again.
Love my SL-1000 helmet pack!! Plenty of view on what's ahead with time to react while Eskridge on dark bike paths at night. Helmet mounts are awesome & it works with my GoPro mounts also.
So far so Good! I have not attached it my helmet yet but when I held it on the top of it, is was awesome, I could really see the path.
I love this light. It is extremely bright, and throws the light for a good 10 yards ahead of me. The light is very well build with an aluminum housing, so it will most likely last a long time, even after several spills.
Short but thicker size makes it perfectly suitable for helmet use. Just don't make the same mistake as I did and make sure to install it at the front of your helmet for a good range of motion. The included diffuser is very useful for when I use it for Onewheel since you want to get as wide of a view as possible. USB C is a thankful addition. Battery life is great for my use. Great purchase that you won't regret.
Also, if you need help from their team, they're just great and seem to really care about helping you.
I ride almost every night for about 15 to 20 miles on roads, and high have lights mounted on my Kaly which were great but didn’t really get over all the little bumps and hills mountain a SL 1000 on my helmet, and wow what a difference. Gotta look away from cars though.
Lotta light from a small light.
