Shredlights are amazing !
Haven't managed to brake one yet, except for when my board crashed & rolled over at full speed.
Even then, only the charging-port covers got ripped off, but the lights still worked perfectly.
Those were the old SL-200 and those covers have since been thickened.
Shred lights do cost a lot, but you get the quality for what you pay. The lights are very bright and durable. I ride my electric skateboard everyday and with these I’m certain people will see me and also be aware that I’m not on a regular slow skateboard. Cars notice me better instead of doing unsafe turns because they think it’s just some guy on a slow skateboard. Happy with the purchase.
I accidentally bought the upgrade kit instead of the full kit. They helped me get figured out and got me everything I need. Light mounts fit perfectly. Lights are very bright. Hello night skating.
Lights last 2-3 rides and recharge pretty quick and they're not cheaply built
I have many different shred lights. They’re durable, versatile, reliable and pretty affordable. Great lights all around.
The lights are more visible and brighter, for EUC daylight use.
The upgraded S-lock and case really makes a huge difference in the perceived quality of the lights. They're also way stronger and stay in the mounts. I had a few issues in the past with losing SL-200s out of the rear mounts on my board but I no longer have that problem with the SL-300s. I'm going to use my leftover SL-200s on my helmet now that I have something stronger and brighter on my board.
