A compact light kit with 300 lumens of headlight power to see up to 10m ahead and be seen from over 2 km away.
I purchased several items recently (three SL-300 + mounts for my Meepo Hurricane, and a SL-1000 for my helmet) to make my night rides more safe. I've reviewed many different lighting systems in the past several months and I chose to go with the Shred Lights. Boy, am I glad I did! They are perfect. They light up my night rides beautifully and they are built like trucks too! Couldn't have asked for more. Can't wait until the SL-FXs' are released.
I ordered two SL-300 lights. One arrived with a cracked case that made me worry about water resistance. I did contact Shredlights and they sent a replacement ASAP, so that’s a win. Later I discovered that there were no USB cables in either box, despite the box claiming there should be. I didn’t bother Shredlights about this because I have plenty of cables, but overall the out of box experience was so-so, like maybe I got returned units (neither box was sealed). Hopefully the lights perform well for a long time!
Really happy with my purchase might upgrade at some point but for now the single s300 is perfect to be safe while riding at night
Very nice to have but the curve mount didnt follow the TSG surface 100%
Bright Lights. Big City. Just the light I wanted with many modes that are needed.
Have not mounted yet. Very nice light. Lightweight. Not as bright as the SL1000. It does project a nice beam of light so you can see what is in front of you. If your budget allows you. Go for the SL1000, keep in mind, the SL1000 weighs significantly more than the SL300. If not, you can’t go wrong with the SL300. Solid light. I ordered 2. I have been thinking of mounting 2 SL300’s on the helmet versus 1 SL1000 due to the weight factor. Tip use Alien tape to do some mock mountings.
I like my new light. I had an older version that was smaller that I liked better though because I use it as a flashlight not for a skateboard
the best light for pev
